Article I: Name and Purpose
Section 1: Name The name of this organization shall be Harmony Oasis Fellowship, hereinafter referred to as the “Church.”
Section 2: Purpose The purpose of the Church shall be to nurture the holistic well-being of the human mind, spirit, and body, rooted in compassion, education, and well-being for children. The Church aspires to create a sanctuary for all living creatures, promote respect and stewardship for the Earth, and advocate for a plant-based approach to nourishment. The Church is committed to fostering health, harmony, and love in both individuals and the environment.
Article II: Membership
Section 1: Eligibility Membership in the Church shall be open to all individuals who support its mission and values.
Section 2: Rights and Responsibilities Members shall have the right to participate in Church activities, vote on matters requiring membership approval, and hold leadership positions. Members shall also uphold the values and principles of the Church and actively contribute to its mission.
Article III: Governance
Section 1: Leadership The Church shall be led by a Board of Directors consisting of elected members from the congregation. The Board shall be responsible for overseeing the Church’s activities, setting strategic goals, and ensuring adherence to its mission and bylaws.
Section 2: Meetings Regular meetings of the congregation shall be held twice monthly, and special meetings may be called as needed. The Board of Directors shall meet monthly to conduct business and make decisions on behalf of the Church.
Article IV: Finances
Section 1: Fiscal Year The fiscal year of the Church shall begin on March 3rd, 2024 and end on December 31st, 2025.
Section 2: Financial Management The Church shall maintain accurate financial records and operate within a budget approved by the Board of Directors. All financial transactions shall be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Article V: Amendments
Section 1: Process These bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the members present at a regular or special meeting called for that purpose. Proposed amendments must be submitted to the Board of Directors at least 14 days prior to the meeting.
Section 2: Notification Members shall be notified of proposed amendments at least 1 week prior to the meeting where the vote will take place.
